Together at a distance - collaboration in times of Covid-19

Dealing with Corona is a challenge for TAKKT - one that we have learned to grow with. Find out how our everyday work life has changed and what you should know if you want to apply.

How has Corona changed the way we work at TAKKT?

Even before the start of the pandemic, there was the option to work from home. Now, this is used more frequently. At the moment, all our employees work remotely whenever possible.

To stay in regular contact with colleagues and continue to act as a team, we have created virtual touchpoints. We have established new meeting structures, e.g. formats such as retrospectives and digital workshops.

In the last year, we have successfully leveraged the benefits and opportunities of digital work, enabling a greater flexibility and work-life balance.

What are we doing to support our employees during this time?

To promote cooperation despite the distance, our creative minds have developed and introduced digital offers.

For us, the physical and mental health of our employees is a top priority. We have shared tips & tricks for living and working during the pandemic and always bring variety into the home office routine with our digital formats.

Interpersonal contact and exchange is encouraged by the Coffee Lottery, for example. This gives employees the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from other teams virtually and to get to know each other better.


We also stayed in touch using a Corona / Home Office newsletter in 2020 and digital after-works.

In addition, our virtual Active Break provides a physical balance and strengthens well-being.

How is the situation handled now?

We regularly develop our range of employee support services on the basis of our experience in dealing with Corona. Our crisis management team has established certain rules, such as regularly airing the meeting rooms and wearing the mask in the hallways, to minimize the risk of infection on site. In addition, medical masks and disinfectants are provided. Despite these measures, we ask our employees to work in the office as little as possible.

How does Corona impact Recruiting?

We are happy that we are still looking for new employees for our open positions! Again, to protect the health of all involved, we conduct first interviews virtually. Since a face-to-face meeting is beneficial to both sides (as long as official Corona regulations allow), if all parties agree, interviews can also be conducted on a small scale in our meeting rooms. Here, we consider it very important to adhere to the AHA rule. Alternatively, we are very happy to make get-to-know appointments during a walk.

Of course, we always keep our applicants up to date so that we can react as quickly as possible to changes in regulations and the current situation.
