We are TAKKT Group – specialized on B2B direct marketing for business equipment in Europe and North America. The group's success is due to high-quality products, but most of all to our more than 2.500 competent colleagues. We collaborate in small teams where we empower each other.

The main task as Head of M&A (m/f/d) is the development and implementation of our M&A strategy. This involves building a deal flow with our businesses, lead acquisition and integration projects as well as market, competition and portfolio analyses. Thus, it supports the strategic development of the multinational TAKKT Group.

Your role:

  • Define the M&A strategy and build proprietary deal flow together with our businesses
  • Play an active role in deal origination and negotiation of terms
  • Manage transaction work as deal captain across the investment cycle (through initial analysis, structuring, diligence, negotiations and closing)
  • Lead the preparation of business plans, valuations, and approval documents as well as own the M&A reporting within the group
  • Actively steer post-merger integration projects
  • Be actively involved in the growth and management of the junior team (up to two employees)


Who you are:

  • Several years of professional experience in M&A of an international company, in M&A consulting, private equity or transaction services
  • You challenge existing ways and develop new processes and/or automation to drive efficiency of M&A
  • University degree, MBA or equivalent education preferred
  • Comprehensive international M&A transaction experience including company valuations, modeling of business cases, due diligence processes and contract negotiations
  • Sound know-how in reading and interpreting economic and business figures and knowledge of digital and sustainable business models
  • A strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and in English
